In operation for several decades, the Sale and District Family History Group amalgamated with the Sale Historical Society in 2024. Over the years, members have produced a number of local history publications and helped many find out more about their family history.
The group is based at the former Temperance Hall in Macalister Street and is open from 10 am to 4 pm each Friday
